제137조 운전자에 관한 정보의 관리 및 제공 등

경찰청장은 운전자의 운전면허ㆍ교통사고 및 교통법규 위반에 관한 정보를 통합적으로 유지ㆍ관리할 수 있도록 전산시스템을 구축ㆍ운영하여야 한다.
The Commissioner General of the National Police Agency shall establish and operate an information system to integrally maintain and manage information concerning drivers' licenses, traffic accidents, and traffic violations.
시ㆍ도경찰청장 및 경찰서장은 운전자의 운전면허ㆍ교통사고 및 교통법규 위반에 관한 정보를, 한국도로교통공단은 운전면허에 관한 정보를 각각 제1항에 따른 전산시스템에 등록ㆍ관리하여야 한다. <개정 2020.12.22, 2024.1.30>
The Provincial Police Commissioner and the Chief of a Police Station shall register and manage information concerning drivers' licenses, traffic accidents, and traffic violations in the information system referred to in paragraph ①, and the Korea Road Traffic Authority shall register and manage information concerning drivers' licenses in the same system. <Amended by Act No. 17800, Dec. 22, 2020; Act No. 19144, Jan. 30, 2024.>
운전자 본인 또는 그 대리인은 행정안전부령으로 정하는 바에 따라 시ㆍ도경찰청장, 경찰서장 또는 한국도로교통공단에 제1항에 따른 정보를 확인하는 증명을 신청할 수 있다. <개정 2013.3.23, 2014.11.19, 2017.7.26, 2020.12.22, 2024.1.30>
