제51조 어린이통학버스의 특별보호

어린이통학버스가 도로에 정차하여 어린이나 영유아가 타고 내리는 중임을 표시하는 점멸등 등의 장치를 작동 중일 때에는 어린이통학버스가 정차한 차로와 그 차로의 바로 옆 차로로 통행하는 차의 운전자는 어린이통학버스에 이르기 전에 일시정지하여 안전을 확인한 후 서행하여야 한다. <개정 2014.12.30>
When a children's school bus is stopped on a road and operating a flashing light or similar device to indicate that children or infants are boarding or alighting, drivers of vehicles on the lane where the children's school bus is stopped and the lane immediately adjacent to it shall stop before reaching the children's school bus, check for safety, and then proceed slowly. <Amended by Act No. 12945, Dec. 30, 2014>
제1항의 경우 중앙선이 설치되지 아니한 도로와 편도 1차로인 도로에서는 반대방향에서 진행하는 차의 운전자도 어린이통학버스에 이르기 전에 일시정지하여 안전을 확인한 후 서행하여야 한다.
In the case of paragraph ①, on roads without a median strip and on roads with only one lane in the direction of travel, drivers of vehicles traveling in the opposite direction shall also stop before reaching the children's school bus, check for safety, and then proceed slowly.
모든 차의 운전자는 어린이나 영유아를 태우고 있다는 표시를 한 상태로 도로를 통행하는 어린이통학버스를 앞지르지 못한다. <개정 2014.12.30>
