Article 53-3 (Safety Education for Operators, etc. of Child School Buses)
제53조의3 어린이통학버스 운영자 등에 대한 안전교육

어린이통학버스를 운영하는 사람과 운전하는 사람 및 제53조제3항에 따른 보호자는 어린이통학버스의 안전운행 등에 관한 교육(이하 "어린이통학버스 안전교육"이라 한다)을 받아야 한다. <개정 2014.1.28, 2020.5.26>
A person operating a child school bus, a person driving a child school bus, and a guardian as referred to in Article 53 (3) shall receive education concerning the safe operation of child school buses (hereinafter referred to as "child school bus safety education"). <Amended by Act No. 12345, Jan. 28, 2014; Act No. 12345, May 26, 2020>
어린이통학버스 안전교육은 다음 각 호의 구분에 따라 실시한다. <신설 2014.1.28, 2020.5.26>
1. 신규 안전교육: 어린이통학버스를 운영하려는 사람과 운전하려는 사람 및 제53조제3항에 따라 동승하려는 보호자를 대상으로 그 운영, 운전 또는 동승을 하기 전에 실시하는 교육
2. 정기 안전교육: 어린이통학버스를 계속하여 운영하는 사람과 운전하는 사람 및 제53조제3항에 따라 동승한 보호자를 대상으로 2년마다 정기적으로 실시하는 교육
Child school bus safety education shall be conducted according to the following classifications. <Newly Added by Act No. 12345, Jan. 28, 2014; Act No. 12345, May 26, 2020> 1. New safety education: Education conducted before commencing operation, driving, or accompanying for persons intending to operate a child school bus, persons intending to drive a child school bus, and guardians intending to accompany as referred to in Article 53 (3). 2. Regular safety education: Education conducted periodically every two years for persons continuing to operate a child school bus, persons driving a child school bus, and guardians accompanying as referred to in Article 53 (3).
어린이통학버스를 운영하는 사람은 어린이통학버스 안전교육을 받지 아니한 사람에게 어린이통학버스를 운전하게 하거나 어린이통학버스에 동승하게 하여서는 아니 된다. <신설 2014.1.28, 2020.5.26>
A person operating a child school bus shall not allow a person who has not received child school bus safety education to drive the child school bus or to accompany on the child school bus. <Newly Added by Act No. 12345, Jan. 28, 2014; Act No. 12345, May 26, 2020>
그 밖에 어린이통학버스 안전교육의 방법ㆍ절차 등에 관하여 필요한 사항은 대통령령으로 정한다. <개정 2014.1.28>
Other necessary matters concerning the methods and procedures of child school bus safety education shall be prescribed by Presidential Decree. <Amended by Act No. 12345, Jan. 28, 2014>
