MArticle 28 (Signing of a Contract Concerning Management and Operation Services)

An employer or a subscriber who intends to establish a retirement pension system shall enter into a contract with a retirement pension provider for the performance of the following services (hereinafter referred to as "management and operation services"). Provided, That the services under subparagraph 1-2 shall only apply when establishing a defined contribution retirement pension system, and the services under subparagraph 2 shall only apply when establishing a defined benefit retirement pension system. <Amended on Apr. 13, 2021, Jan. 11, 2022> 1. Providing information on methods for operating reserve funds and methods for operating reserve funds to employers or subscribers. 1-2. Services concerning the establishment and operation of a pre-designated management system. 2. Pension system design and pension accounting treatment. 3. Recording, storing, and notifying the status of reserve fund operation. 4. Services for transmitting the operation method selected by an employer or subscriber to a retirement pension provider performing asset management services under Article 29 (1). 5. Other services prescribed by Presidential Decree for the proper performance of management and operation services.
