제19조의4 외국인유학생의 관리 등

제10조에 따른 체류자격 중 유학이나 연수활동을 할 수 있는 체류자격을 가지고 있는 외국인(이하 "외국인유학생"이라 한다)이 재학 중이거나 연수 중인 학교(「고등교육법」 제2조 각 호에 따른 학교를 말한다. 이하 같다)의 장은 그 외국인유학생의 관리를 담당하는 직원을 지정하고 이를 지방출입국ㆍ외국인관서의 장에게 알려야 한다. <개정 2014.3.18, 2018.3.20>
The head of a school (referring to schools falling under any of the subparagraphs of Article 2 of the Higher Education Act. The same applies hereinafter) where a foreigner who has a status of residence that allows study abroad or training activities under Article 10 is enrolled or undergoing training (hereinafter referred to as "foreign student") shall designate an employee responsible for the management of the foreign student and notify the head of the local immigration and foreign affairs office thereof. <Amended on March 18, 2014, March 20, 2018>
제1항에 따른 학교의 장은 다음 각 호의 어느 하나에 해당하는 사유가 발생하면 대통령령으로 정하는 바에 따라 15일 이내에 지방출입국ㆍ외국인관서의 장에게 신고(정보통신망에 의한 신고를 포함한다)하여야 한다. <개정 2014.3.18, 2020.6.9>
1. 입학하거나 연수허가를 받은 외국인유학생이 매 학기 등록기한까지 등록을 하지 아니하거나 휴학을 한 경우
2. 제적ㆍ연수중단 또는 행방불명 등의 사유로 외국인유학생의 유학이나 연수가 끝난 경우
When any of the following grounds occurs, the head of a school under Paragraph 1 shall report to the head of the local immigration and foreign affairs office (including reporting via information and communication networks) within 15 days as prescribed by Presidential Decree. <Amended on March 18, 2014, June 9, 2020> 1. When a foreign student who has been admitted or granted permission for training fails to register by the registration deadline for each semester or takes a leave of absence. 2. When the study abroad or training of a foreign student has ended for reasons such as expulsion, suspension of training, or disappearance.
외국인유학생의 관리에 필요한 사항은 대통령령으로 정한다.
Matters necessary for the management of foreign students shall be prescribed by Presidential Decree.
