제19조의4 외국인유학생의 관리 등

제10조에 따른 체류자격 중 유학이나 연수활동을 할 수 있는 체류자격을 가지고 있는 외국인(이하 "외국인유학생"이라 한다)이 재학 중이거나 연수 중인 학교(「고등교육법」 제2조 각 호에 따른 학교를 말한다. 이하 같다)의 장은 그 외국인유학생의 관리를 담당하는 직원을 지정하고 이를 지방출입국ㆍ외국인관서의 장에게 알려야 한다. <개정 2014.3.18, 2018.3.20>
The head of a school (meaning a school under any subparagraph of Article 2 of the Higher Education Act; hereinafter the same shall apply) at which a foreign national holding a status of stay permitting study or training activities among the statuses of stay under Article 10 (hereinafter referred to as a "foreign student") is enrolled or undergoing training shall designate a staff member responsible for managing that foreign student and notify the head of the local immigration or foreigner office. <Amended on Mar. 18, 2014; Mar. 20, 2018>
제1항에 따른 학교의 장은 다음 각 호의 어느 하나에 해당하는 사유가 발생하면 대통령령으로 정하는 바에 따라 15일 이내에 지방출입국ㆍ외국인관서의 장에게 신고(정보통신망에 의한 신고를 포함한다)하여야 한다. <개정 2014.3.18, 2020.6.9>
1. 입학하거나 연수허가를 받은 외국인유학생이 매 학기 등록기한까지 등록을 하지 아니하거나 휴학을 한 경우
2. 제적ㆍ연수중단 또는 행방불명 등의 사유로 외국인유학생의 유학이나 연수가 끝난 경우
Where any of the following arises, the head of a school under paragraph (1) shall report it to the head of the local immigration or foreigner office within 15 days, as prescribed by Presidential Decree (including reporting via an information and communications network): <Amended on Mar. 18, 2014; Jun. 9, 2020> 1. Where a foreign student who has been admitted or granted permission to train fails to register by the registration deadline for a given semester, or takes a leave of absence 2. Where the foreign student's study or training has ended on grounds such as expulsion, discontinuation of training, or their whereabouts becoming unknown
외국인유학생의 관리에 필요한 사항은 대통령령으로 정한다.
Matters necessary for the management of foreign students shall be prescribed by Presidential Decree.
