고용노동부장관은 법 제29조제1항에 따라 피보험자(자영업자인 피보험자는 해당 연도 대부사업 공고일 현재 보험가입 후 합산하여 180일이 지난 사람으로 한정한다)가 자기 비용으로 다음 각 호의 어느 하나에 해당하는 학교나 시설에 입학하거나 재학하는 경우에는 해당 학자금의 전부나 일부를 예산의 범위에서 대부할 수 있다. <개정 2008.6.5, 2009.3.12, 2010.7.12, 2010.8.25, 2012.1.13, 2021.6.8, 2022.2.17>

1. 「국민 평생 직업능력 개발법」에 따른 기능대학
2. 「평생교육법」 제33조제3항에 따른 전문대학 또는 대학졸업자와 동등한 학력ㆍ학위가 인정되는 원격대학형태의 평생교육시설
3. 「고등교육법」 제2조에 따른 학교

The Minister of Employment and Labor may, within the budgetary scope, provide loans, in whole or in part, for tuition fees to an insured person who enrolls or is enrolled in schools or facilities falling under any of the following subparagraphs at their own expense, pursuant to Article 29(1) of the Act (for self-employed insured persons, this shall be limited to those whose combined insured period after enrollment is 180 days or more as of the announcement date of the loan project for the relevant year). <Amended by Act No. 10780, Jun. 5, 2008; Act No. 11401, Mar. 12, 2009; Act No. 10413, Jul. 12, 2010; Act No. 10524, Aug. 25, 2010; Act No. 11604, Jan. 13, 2012; Act No. 17359, Jun. 8, 2021; Act No. 18053, Feb. 17, 2022> 1. 고용노동부장관은 피보험자가 직업능력개발훈련을 수강하는 경우 그 수강료의 전부나 일부를 예산의 범위에서 대부할 수 있다. 다만, 다음 각 호의 어느 하나에 해당하는 과정을 수강하는 경우는 제외한다. <개정 2010.7.12>

1. 세미나, 심포지엄 등 정보 교류 활동 또는 시사ㆍ일반상식 등 교양과정
2. 취미활동, 오락과 스포츠 등을 목적으로 하는 과정
3. 그 밖에 고용노동부장관이 직업능력개발훈련과정으로 적합하지 아니하다고 인정하는 과정

The Minister of Employment and Labor may, within the budgetary scope, provide loans, in whole or in part, for tuition fees to an insured person who takes vocational skills development training. However, this shall not apply to courses falling under any of the following subparagraphs. <Amended by Act No. 10413, Jul. 12, 2010> 1. Information exchange activities such as seminars and symposia, or general cultural courses such as current affairs and general knowledge. 2. Courses for hobby activities, entertainment, and sports. 3. Other courses that the Minister of Employment and Labor deems unsuitable as vocational skills development training courses.

제2항에 따른 직업능력개발훈련 중 외국어 과정에 대하여 수강료를 대부받을 수 있는 사람의 범위는 고용노동부장관이 정한다. <개정 2010.7.12, 2021.6.8>

제1항부터 제3항까지의 규정에 따른 대부금의 이율, 대부기간 등 대부조건은 고용노동부장관이 기획예산처장관과 협의하여 정한다. <개정 2008.2.29, 2010.7.12, 2025.12.30>
