고용노동부장관은 사업장의 남녀고용평등 이행을 촉진하기 위하여 그 사업장 소속 근로자 중 노사가 추천하는 사람을 명예고용평등감독관(이하 "명예감독관"이라 한다)으로 위촉할 수 있다. <개정 2010.6.4, 2020.5.26>
The Minister of Employment and Labor may appoint as an Honorary Employment Equality Supervisor (hereinafter referred to as "Honorary Supervisor") a worker belonging to a workplace, who is recommended by labor and management, to promote the implementation of gender employment equality in that workplace. <Amended by Act No. 10335, Jun. 4, 2010; Act No. 17270, May 26, 2020>
명예감독관은 다음 각 호의 업무를 수행한다. <개정 2010.6.4>
1. 해당 사업장의 차별 및 직장 내 성희롱 발생 시 피해 근로자에 대한 상담ㆍ조언
2. 해당 사업장의 고용평등 이행상태 자율점검 및 지도 시 참여
3. 법령위반 사실이 있는 사항에 대하여 사업주에 대한 개선 건의 및 감독기관에 대한 신고
4. 남녀고용평등 제도에 대한 홍보ㆍ계몽
5. 그 밖에 남녀고용평등의 실현을 위하여 고용노동부장관이 정하는 업무
An Honorary Supervisor shall perform the following duties: <Amended by Act No. 10335, Jun. 4, 2010> 1. Counseling and advice for workers who are victims of discrimination or sexual harassment in the workplace. 2. Participation in the voluntary inspection and guidance on the implementation status of employment equality in the workplace. 3. Recommendation for improvement to the employer and reporting to the supervisory authorities regarding matters that violate laws and regulations. 4. Promotion and enlightenment regarding the gender employment equality system. 5. Other duties determined by the Minister of Employment and Labor for the realization of gender employment equality.
사업주는 명예감독관으로서 정당한 임무 수행을 한 것을 이유로 해당 근로자에게 인사상 불이익 등의 불리한 조치를 하여서는 아니 된다.
An employer shall not take unfavorable measures, such as personnel disadvantages, against a worker for performing legitimate duties as an Honorary Supervisor.
명예감독관의 위촉과 해촉 등에 필요한 사항은 고용노동부령으로 정한다. <개정 2010.6.4>
Matters necessary for the appointment and dismissal of an Honorary Supervisor shall be prescribed by the Ordinance of the Ministry of Employment and Labor. <Amended by Act No. 10335, Jun. 4, 2010>
