제6조 정책의 수립 등

고용노동부장관은 남녀고용평등과 일ㆍ가정의 양립을 실현하기 위하여 다음 각 호의 정책을 수립ㆍ시행하여야 한다. <개정 2010.6.4>
1. 남녀고용평등 의식 확산을 위한 홍보
2. 남녀고용평등 우수기업(제17조의4에 따른 적극적 고용개선조치 우수기업을 포함한다)의 선정 및 행정적ㆍ재정적 지원
3. 남녀고용평등 강조 기간의 설정ㆍ추진
4. 남녀차별 개선과 여성취업 확대를 위한 조사ㆍ연구
5. 모성보호와 일ㆍ가정 양립을 위한 제도개선 및 행정적ㆍ재정적 지원
6. 그 밖에 남녀고용평등의 실현과 일ㆍ가정의 양립을 지원하기 위하여 필요한 사항
The Minister of Employment and Labor shall establish and implement the following policies to realize gender equality in employment and work-life balance. <Amended by Act No. 10354, Jun. 4, 2010> 1. Public relations to spread awareness of gender equality in employment 2. Selection and administrative and financial support for companies excellent in gender equality in employment (including companies excellent in affirmative action measures pursuant to Article 17-4) 3. Establishment and promotion of a period emphasizing gender equality in employment 4. Research and investigation to improve gender discrimination and expand female employment 5. System improvement and administrative and financial support for maternity protection and work-life balance 6. Other matters necessary to support the realization of gender equality in employment and work-life balance
고용노동부장관은 제1항에 따른 정책의 수립ㆍ시행을 위하여 관계자의 의견을 반영하도록 노력하여야 하며 필요하다고 인정되는 경우 관계 행정기관 및 지방자치단체, 그 밖의 공공단체의 장에게 협조를 요청할 수 있다. <개정 2010.6.4>
The Minister of Employment and Labor shall strive to reflect the opinions of stakeholders in establishing and implementing the policies under paragraph ①, and may request cooperation from the heads of related administrative agencies, local governments, and other public organizations if deemed necessary. <Amended by Act No. 10354, Jun. 4, 2010>
