Article 17 (Composition and Operation of Conciliation Panel)
제17조 조정부의 구성 및 운영

조정위원회는 분쟁의 효율적 해결을 위하여 3명의 조정위원으로 구성된 조정부를 둘 수 있다.
The Conciliation Committee may establish a conciliation panel composed of three conciliators for the efficient resolution of disputes.
조정부에는 제16조제3항제2호에 해당하는 사람이 1명 이상 포함되어야 하며, 그 중에서 조정위원회위원장이 조정부의 장을 지명한다.
The conciliation panel shall include at least one person who falls under subparagraph 2 of paragraph 3 of Article 16, and the chairperson of the Conciliation Committee shall designate the head of the conciliation panel from among them.
조정부는 다음 각 호의 사항을 심의ㆍ조정한다.
1. 제14조제2항에 따른 주택임대차분쟁 중 대통령령으로 정하는 금액 이하의 분쟁
2. 조정위원회가 사건을 특정하여 조정부에 심의ㆍ조정을 위임한 분쟁
The conciliation panel shall deliberate and conciliate on the following matters: 1. Disputes among housing lease disputes prescribed by Presidential Decree, not exceeding a certain amount, as referred to in subparagraph 2 of paragraph 2 of Article 14. 2. Disputes that the Conciliation Committee has specifically referred to the conciliation panel for deliberation and conciliation.
조정부는 조정부의 장을 포함한 재적위원 과반수의 출석과 출석위원 과반수의 찬성으로 의결한다.
The conciliation panel shall make decisions by the attendance of a majority of all registered members, including the head of the conciliation panel, and the affirmative vote of a majority of the attending members.
제4항에 따라 조정부가 내린 결정은 조정위원회가 결정한 것으로 본다.
Decisions made by the conciliation panel pursuant to paragraph 4 shall be deemed as decisions made by the Conciliation Committee.
그 밖에 조정부의 설치, 구성 및 운영 등에 필요한 사항은 대통령령으로 정한다.
Matters necessary for the establishment, composition, and operation of the conciliation panel, etc., shall be prescribed by Presidential Decree.
