법 제25조에 따른 체류기간 연장허가를 받으려는 사람은 체류기간이 끝나기 전에 체류기간 연장허가 신청서에 법무부령으로 정하는 서류를 첨부하여 청장ㆍ사무소장 또는 출장소장에게 제출하여야 한다. <개정 2018.5.8>
A person who intends to obtain permission to extend the sojourn period under Article 25 of the Act shall submit an application for permission to extend the sojourn period, along with documents prescribed by a Presidential Decree of the Ministry of Justice, to the head of a city hall, immigration office, or branch office before the expiration of the sojourn period. <Amended by Act No. X, May 8, 2018>
청장ㆍ사무소장 또는 출장소장은 제1항에 따른 신청서를 제출받은 때에는 의견을 붙여 지체 없이 법무부장관에게 보내야 한다. <개정 2018.5.8>
Upon receiving an application under paragraph ①, the head of a city hall, immigration office, or branch office shall attach an opinion thereto and forward it to the Minister of Justice without delay. <Amended by Act No. X, May 8, 2018>
청장ㆍ사무소장 또는 출장소장은 법무부장관이 제1항에 따른 신청에 대하여 허가한 때에는 여권에 체류기간 연장허가인을 찍고 체류기간을 적거나 체류기간 연장허가 스티커를 붙여야 한다. 다만, 외국인등록을 마친 사람에 대하여 체류기간 연장을 허가한 때에는 외국인등록증에 허가기간을 적음으로써 이를 갈음한다. <개정 2018.5.8>
If the Minister of Justice grants permission for an application under paragraph ①, the head of a city hall, immigration office, or branch office shall stamp the passport with the permission to extend the sojourn period and indicate the extended sojourn period, or affix a sticker for permission to extend the sojourn period. Provided, however, that if permission to extend the sojourn period is granted to a person who has completed alien registration, this shall be deemed to have been done by indicating the permission period on the alien registration card. <Amended by Act No. X, May 8, 2018>
