체류지 관할 청장ㆍ사무소장 또는 출장소장은 법 제34조제1항에 따른 등록외국인기록표를 개인별로 작성하여 갖추어 두어야 한다. <개정 2018.5.8>

The head of the competent immigration office, the director of the immigration office, or the head of the branch office shall prepare and keep an alien registration card for each individual pursuant to Article 34 (1) of the Act. <Amended by Act No. 15522, May 8, 2018>

체류지 관할 청장ㆍ사무소장 또는 출장소장은 등록외국인에 대하여 각종 허가 또는 통고처분을 하거나 신고 등을 받은 때에는 그 내용을 등록외국인기록표에 적어 관리하여야 한다. <개정 2018.5.8>

When granting any permit or issuing any notification decision to an alien registered under the Act, or when receiving any report, etc. from such alien, the head of the competent immigration office, the director of the immigration office, or the head of the branch office shall record the details thereof on the alien registration card and manage it. <Amended by Act No. 15522, May 8, 2018>

시ㆍ군ㆍ구(자치구가 아닌 구를 포함한다. 이하 이 조 및 제44조부터 제46조까지에서 같다) 및 읍ㆍ면ㆍ동의 장은 법 제34조제2항에 따라 외국인등록대장을 갖추어 두어야 하며, 외국인이 최초로 외국인등록을 하거나 관할 구역으로 전입하여 외국인등록표를 받은 때에는 그 내용을 외국인등록대장에 적어 관리하고, 다른 관할 구역으로 체류지를 옮기거나 체류지 관할 청장ㆍ사무소장 또는 출장소장으로부터 외국인등록 말소통보를 받은 때에는 외국인등록대장의 해당 사항에 붉은 줄을 그어 삭제하고 그 사유와 연월일을 적어야 한다. <개정 2018.5.8, 2018.9.18>

The head of a city, county, or district (including a district that is not an autonomous district; hereinafter the same applies in this Article and Articles 44 through 46) and the head of an `eup`, `myeon`, or `dong` shall prepare and keep an alien registration ledger pursuant to Article 34 (2) of the Act. When an alien makes their first alien registration or moves into the jurisdiction and receives an alien registration card, the details thereof shall be recorded on the alien registration ledger and managed. When the alien moves their place of stay to another jurisdiction or receives a notification of cancellation of alien registration from the head of the competent immigration office, the director of the immigration office, or the head of the branch office, a red line shall be drawn through the relevant entry in the alien registration ledger to cancel it, and the reason and date of cancellation shall be recorded. <Amended by Act No. 15522, May 8, 2018; Act No. 15845, Sep. 18, 2018>

시ㆍ군ㆍ구 및 읍ㆍ면ㆍ동의 장은 외국인등록 말소통보를 받은 외국인의 외국인등록표를 말소된 날부터 1년간 보존하여야 한다. <개정 2018.9.18>

The head of a city, county, or district and the head of an `eup`, `myeon`, or `dong` shall preserve the alien registration card of an alien whose alien registration has been canceled for one year from the date of cancellation. <Amended by Act No. 15845, Sep. 18, 2018>
