출입국관리공무원은 조사업무를 수행하는 데 필요한 경우에는 법 제73조의2제2항 및 제3항의 자료를 조사보고서 등에 적거나 정보화출력물을 첨부하는 방식으로 보존할 수 있다.
An immigration control official may preserve the data referred to in Articles 73-2 (2) and (3) of the Act, as necessary for performing investigation duties, by recording them in investigation reports, etc., or by attaching printouts from information systems.
청장ㆍ사무소장 또는 출장소장은 법 제73조의2제4항에 따라 지정된 출입국관리공무원에게 개인식별 고유번호를 부여하여야 한다. <개정 2018.5.8>

법 제73조의2제7항에 따라 운수업자가 출입국관리공무원에게 자료를 열람하게 하거나 제출하는 시기는 다음 각 호와 같다. <개정 2016.9.29>
1. 법 제73조의2제1항 각 호의 조사를 위한 승객예약정보의 열람을 허용하는 경우: 출입국관리공무원이 요청한 즉시
2. 제1호의 승객예약정보를 전자문서로 제출하는 경우: 제출을 요청한 때부터 30분 이내
3. 법 제73조의2제3항에 따라 출입국관리공무원이 요청한 승객에 대한 자료를 전자문서로 제출하는 경우: 해당 선박등의 출항 30분 전까지. 다만, 전자문서의 제출 이후 법 제73조의2제3항 각 호의 자료 중 변동이 있는 경우에는 출항 전까지로 한다.
The time at which a carrier allows an immigration control official to inspect or submit data pursuant to Article 73-2 (7) of the Act shall be as follows: <Amended on Sep. 29, 2016> 1. When allowing inspection of passenger reservation information for investigations under the subparagraphs of Article 73-2 (1) of the Act: Immediately upon the request of an immigration control official. 2. When submitting passenger reservation information under subparagraph 1 as an electronic document: Within 30 minutes from the time of the request for submission. 3. When submitting data on passengers requested by an immigration control official as an electronic document pursuant to Article 73-2 (3) of the Act: By 30 minutes before the departure of the vessel, etc. Provided, that if there is any change in the data referred to in the subparagraphs of Article 73-2 (3) of the Act after the submission of the electronic document, it shall be submitted before departure.
