Article 57 (Procedures for Keeping and Returning Submitted Items)
제57조 제출물의 보관 및 반환절차

출입국관리공무원은 법 제50조 및 영 제61조의 규정에 의하여 서류 또는 물건을 제출받은 때에는 이를 제출물보관대장에 기재하여야 한다.
An immigration official who receives documents or objects pursuant to the provisions of Article 50 of the Act and Article 61 of the Enforcement Rules shall record them in the Submitted Items Ledger.
출입국관리공무원은 제1항의 제출물을 보관할 필요가 없다고 인정하는 때에는 지체없이 이를 제출인에게 반환하여야 한다.
When an immigration official deems it unnecessary to keep submitted items referred to in paragraph ①, he/she shall return them to the submitter without delay.
출입국관리공무원은 제2항의 규정에 의하여 제출물을 반환하는 때에는 그 반환사실을 제출물보관대장에 기재하고 수령인의 서명을 받아야 한다. 이 경우 제56조의 규정에 의하여 제출물목록 부본을 교부한 사실이 있는 때에는 이를 회수하여 그 정본과 함께 보관하여야 한다.
When an immigration official returns submitted items pursuant to the provisions of paragraph ②, he/she shall record the fact of return in the Submitted Items Ledger and obtain the signature of the recipient. In this case, if a duplicate of the list of submitted items was issued pursuant to the provisions of Article 56, it shall be collected and kept together with the original.
