법무부장관은 대한민국 국적, 영주자격 등을 취득하려는 외국인의 사회적응을 지원하기 위하여 교육, 정보 제공, 상담 등의 사회통합 프로그램(이하 "사회통합 프로그램"이라 한다)을 시행할 수 있다. <개정 2018.3.20>
The Minister of Justice may implement a social integration program (hereinafter referred to as the "Social Integration Program") that includes education, information provision, and counseling to support the social adaptation of foreigners seeking to acquire nationality of the Republic of Korea, permanent residency, etc. <Amended by Act No. 15448, Mar. 20, 2018>
법무부장관은 사회통합 프로그램을 효과적으로 시행하기 위하여 필요한 전문인력 및 시설 등을 갖춘 기관, 법인 또는 단체를 사회통합 프로그램 운영기관으로 지정할 수 있다.
The Minister of Justice may designate institutions, corporations, or organizations that possess the necessary professional personnel and facilities for the effective implementation of the Social Integration Program as operators of the Social Integration Program.
법무부장관은 대통령령으로 정하는 바에 따라 사회통합 프로그램의 시행에 필요한 전문인력을 양성할 수 있다.
The Minister of Justice may foster professional personnel necessary for the implementation of the Social Integration Program, as prescribed by Presidential Decree.
국가와 지방자치단체는 다음 각 호의 경비의 전부 또는 일부를 예산의 범위에서 지원할 수 있다.
1. 제2항에 따라 지정된 운영기관의 업무 수행에 필요한 경비
2. 제3항에 따른 전문인력 양성에 필요한 경비
The State and local governments may support all or part of the expenses in the following subparagraphs within the scope of their budgets: 1. Expenses necessary for the operation of operators designated under paragraph ② 2. Expenses necessary for the fostering of professional personnel under paragraph ③
사회통합 프로그램의 내용 및 개발, 운영기관의 지정ㆍ관리 및 지정 취소, 그 밖에 사회통합 프로그램의 운영에 필요한 사항은 대통령령으로 정한다.
The content and development of the Social Integration Program, the designation and management of operators, revocation of designation, and other matters necessary for the operation of the Social Integration Program shall be prescribed by Presidential Decree.
