중앙노동위원회의 공익위원은 다음 각 호의 구분에 따라 노동문제에 관한 지식과 경험이 있는 사람을 위촉하되, 여성의 위촉이 늘어날 수 있도록 노력하여야 한다.

1. 심판담당 공익위원 및 차별시정담당 공익위원
1. 가. 노동문제와 관련된 학문을 전공한 사람으로서 「고등교육법」 제2조제1호부터 제6호까지의 학교에서 부교수 이상으로 재직하고 있거나 재직하였던 사람
2. 나. 판사ㆍ검사ㆍ군법무관ㆍ변호사 또는 공인노무사로 7년 이상 재직하고 있거나 재직하였던 사람
3. 다. 노동관계 업무에 7년 이상 종사한 사람으로서 2급 또는 2급 상당 이상의 공무원이나 고위공무원단에 속하는 공무원으로 재직하고 있거나 재직하였던 사람
4. 라. 그 밖에 노동관계 업무에 15년 이상 종사한 사람으로서 심판담당 공익위원 또는 차별시정담당 공익위원으로 적합하다고 인정되는 사람
2. 조정담당 공익위원
1. 가. 「고등교육법」 제2조제1호부터 제6호까지의 학교에서 부교수 이상으로 재직하고 있거나 재직하였던 사람
2. 나. 판사ㆍ검사ㆍ군법무관ㆍ변호사 또는 공인노무사로 7년 이상 재직하고 있거나 재직하였던 사람
3. 다. 노동관계 업무에 7년 이상 종사한 사람으로서 2급 또는 2급 상당 이상의 공무원이나 고위공무원단에 속하는 공무원으로 재직하고 있거나 재직하였던 사람
4. 라. 그 밖에 노동관계 업무에 15년 이상 종사한 사람 또는 사회적 덕망이 있는 사람으로서 조정담당 공익위원으로 적합하다고 인정되는 사람

The Public Interest Committee members of the National Labor Relations Commission shall be appointed in accordance with the following categories, and efforts shall be made to increase the appointment of women. 1. Public Interest Committee members in charge of adjudication and discrimination remedies a. Persons who have majored in studies related to labor issues and have been or were employed as associate professors or higher at schools referred to in Articles 2 (1) through (6) of the Higher Education Act. b. Persons who have been or were employed for 7 years or more as judges, prosecutors, military legal officers, lawyers, or certified public labor attorneys. c. Persons who have engaged in labor relations work for 7 years or more and have been or were employed as public officials of Grade 2 or equivalent or higher, or public officials belonging to the Senior Civil Service. d. Other persons who have engaged in labor relations work for 15 years or more and are deemed suitable as Public Interest Committee members in charge of adjudication or discrimination remedies. 2. Public Interest Committee members in charge of mediation a. Persons who have been or were employed as associate professors or higher at schools referred to in Articles 2 (1) through (6) of the Higher Education Act. b. Persons who have been or were employed for 7 years or more as judges, prosecutors, military legal officers, lawyers, or certified public labor attorneys. c. Persons who have engaged in labor relations work for 7 years or more and have been or were employed as public officials of Grade 2 or equivalent or higher, or public officials belonging to the Senior Civil Service. d. Other persons who have engaged in labor relations work for 15 years or more or possess social repute and are deemed suitable as Public Interest Committee members in charge of mediation.
