Article 14 (Composition of the Committee, etc.)
제14조 위원회의 구성 등

위원회는 다음 각 호의 위원으로 구성한다.
1. 근로자를 대표하는 위원(이하 "근로자위원"이라 한다) 9명
2. 사용자를 대표하는 위원(이하 "사용자위원"이라 한다) 9명
3. 공익을 대표하는 위원(이하 "공익위원"이라 한다) 9명
The Committee shall be composed of members as follows: 1. Nine members representing workers (hereinafter referred to as "worker members"). 2. Nine members representing employers (hereinafter referred to as "employer members"). 3. Nine members representing public interest (hereinafter referred to as "public interest members").
위원회에 2명의 상임위원을 두며, 상임위원은 공익위원이 된다.
The Committee shall have two full-time members, and such full-time members shall be public interest members.
위원의 임기는 3년으로 하되, 연임할 수 있다.
The term of office of members shall be three years, and they may be reappointed.
위원이 궐위(闕位)되면 그 보궐위원의 임기는 전임자(前任者) 임기의 남은 기간으로 한다.
If a vacancy occurs, the term of office of the replacement member shall be the remaining period of the predecessor's term.
위원은 임기가 끝났더라도 후임자가 임명되거나 위촉될 때까지 계속하여 직무를 수행한다.
Members shall continue to perform their duties until their successors are appointed or recommended, even after their terms have expired.
위원의 자격과 임명ㆍ위촉 등에 관하여 필요한 사항은 대통령령으로 정한다.
Matters necessary for the qualifications of members and their appointment or recommendation, etc. shall be prescribed by Presidential Decree.
