제40조(공무원의 전출 시의 보수월액보험료 납부) 공무원인 직장가입자가 다른 기관으로 전출된 경우 전출된 날이 속하는 달의 보수월액보험료는 전출 전 기관의 장이 전출된 공무원에게 지급할 보수에서 이를 공제하여 납부한다. 다만, 전출한 기관의 장이 전출한 날이 속하는 달의 보수를 지급하지 아니한 경우에는 전입받은 기관의 장이 보수에서 공제하여 납부한다.

Translation

① If an insured employee who is a public official is transferred to another agency, the head of the agency from which the public official was transferred shall deduct the monthly wage insurance premiums for the month in which the transfer date falls from the wages to be paid to the transferred public official and pay them. Provided, however, that if the head of the agency to which the public official was transferred does not pay wages for the month in which the transfer date falls, the head of the agency that received the transfer shall deduct them from the wages and pay them.
