제56조 지급의 일시 중지

공단은 법 제86조제2항에 따라 급여의 지급을 일시 중지하려면 수급권자에게 10일 이상의 기한을 정하여 서면으로 급여의 지급이 정지될 수 있는 사유를 해소할 것을 재촉하여야 한다.
The Corporation, when intending to temporarily suspend payment of benefits pursuant to Article 86(2) of the Act, shall, by setting a period of not less than 10 days, urge the beneficiary in writing to resolve the grounds for which the payment of benefits may be suspended.
제1항에 따른 재촉을 받은 자가 기한까지 필요한 조치를 하지 아니하면 그 다음 달부터 3년 이내의 기간을 정하여 급여의 지급을 일시 중지한다.
If the person who has received the urging under paragraph ① fails to take the necessary measures by the deadline, the payment of benefits shall be temporarily suspended for a period of not more than 3 years from the following month.
제1항에 따라 급여의 지급이 일시 중지된 자가 그 일시 중지 기간에 필요한 조치를 이행하면 그 일시 중지를 바로 해제하고, 그 동안 지급하지 아니한 급여를 지급하여야 한다.
If a person whose payment of benefits has been temporarily suspended pursuant to paragraph ① fulfills the necessary measures during the period of temporary suspension, the temporary suspension shall be immediately lifted, and the benefits that were not paid during that period shall be paid.
제2항에 따른 일시 중지 기간에 필요한 조치를 이행하지 아니하는 자에 대하여 법 제86조제1항에 따라 급여의 지급을 정지하는 경우에는 일시 중지한 기간을 포함하여 그 지급을 정지하여야 한다.
In the case where the payment of benefits is suspended pursuant to Article 86(1) of the Act for a person who fails to take the necessary measures during the period of temporary suspension under paragraph ②, the payment shall be suspended including the period of temporary suspension.
