보건복지부장관은 기금의 수입과 지출을 명확하게 하기 위하여 한국은행에 국민연금기금 계정을 설치하여야 한다. <개정 2008.2.29, 2010.3.15, 2013.6.28>

공단은 제76조에 따라 위탁받은 기금의 외국환거래를 효율적으로 수행하기 위하여 「국고금 관리법」 제12조제1항 단서에 따른 금고은행에 외국통화의 출납이 가능한 예금계좌를 개설할 수 있다. <신설 2013.6.28, 2020.1.29>
