Article 54 (Pension Payment Period and Payment Timing)
제54조 연금 지급 기간 및 지급 시기

연금은 지급하여야 할 사유가 생긴 날(제78조제1항에 따른 반납금, 제92조제1항에 따른 추납보험료(追納保險料) 또는 체납된 연금보험료를 냄에 따라 연금을 지급하여야 할 사유가 생긴 경우에는 해당 금액을 낸 날)이 속하는 달의 다음 달부터 수급권이 소멸한 날이 속하는 달까지 지급한다. <개정 2011.12.31>
A pension shall be paid from the month following the month in which the reason for payment arises (in cases where the reason for payment arises due to the payment of repayment money under Article 78(1), additional insurance premiums under Article 92(1) (追納保險料), or overdue pension insurance premiums, from the month following the month in which the relevant amount is paid) until the month in which the right to receive the pension extinguishes.
연금은 매월 25일에 그 달의 금액을 지급하되, 지급일이 토요일이나 공휴일이면 그 전날에 지급한다. 다만, 수급권이 소멸하거나 연금 지급이 정지된 경우에는 그 지급일 전에 지급할 수 있다. <개정 2011.12.31>
A pension shall be paid on the 25th of each month for that month's amount; however, if the payment date falls on a Saturday or a public holiday, it shall be paid on the preceding day. Provided, that in cases where the right to receive the pension extinguishes or the pension payment is suspended, payment may be made before the payment date.
연금은 지급을 정지하여야 할 사유가 생기면 그 사유가 생긴 날이 속하는 달의 다음 달부터 그 사유가 소멸한 날이 속하는 달까지는 지급하지 아니한다.
If a reason for suspending pension payments arises, the pension shall not be paid from the month following the month in which such reason arises until the month in which such reason extinguishes.
