Article 89 (Due Date for Payment of Pension Insurance Premiums, etc.)
제89조 연금보험료의 납부 기한 등

연금보험료는 납부 의무자가 다음 달 10일까지 내야 한다. 다만, 대통령령으로 정하는 농업ㆍ임업ㆍ축산업 또는 수산업을 경영하거나 이에 종사하는 자(이하 "농어업인"이라 한다)는 본인의 신청에 의하여 분기별 연금보험료를 해당 분기의 다음 달 10일까지 낼 수 있다.
Pension insurance premiums shall be paid by the obligor by the 10th of the following month. Provided, however, that individuals engaged in or employed in agriculture, forestry, livestock farming, or fisheries, as prescribed by Presidential Decree (hereinafter referred to as "agricultural and fishery workers"), may, upon their application, pay their quarterly pension insurance premiums by the 10th of the month following the end of the relevant quarter.
연금보험료를 납부 기한의 1개월 이전에 미리 낸 경우에는 그 전달의 연금보험료 납부 기한이 속하는 날의 다음 날에 낸 것으로 본다.
If pension insurance premiums are paid in advance more than one month before the due date for payment, they shall be deemed to have been paid on the day following the date on which the due date for payment of the pension insurance premiums for the previous month falls.
납부 의무자가 연금보험료를 미리 낼 경우 그 기간과 감액(減額)할 금액 등은 대통령령으로 정한다.
When an obligor pays pension insurance premiums in advance, the period and the amount to be reduced (減額), etc., shall be prescribed by Presidential Decree.
납부 의무자가 연금보험료를 계좌 또는 신용카드 자동이체의 방법으로 낼 경우에는 대통령령으로 정하는 바에 따라 연금보험료를 감액하거나 재산상의 이익을 제공할 수 있다. <개정 2009.5.21, 2020.12.29>

건강보험공단은 제1항에도 불구하고 고지서의 송달 지연 등 보건복지부령으로 정하는 사유에 해당하는 경우에는 제1항에 따른 납부 기한으로부터 1개월 범위에서 납부 기한을 연장할 수 있다. <개정 2008.2.29, 2009.5.21, 2010.1.18>
